Dr Katie Dimarco is a Consultant Psychiatrist and Psychotherapist who consults in general adult psychiatry, psychotherapy, and medico-legal practice.
She graduated with an Honours degree in Medicine from the University of Melbourne in 2004, and achieved her Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists in 2012. She has a RANZCP Advanced Training Certificate in Psychotherapies, with training in cognitive-behaviour therapy and psychodynamic psychotherapy. Dr Dimarco is a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Sydney.
Dr Dimarco treats a broad range of conditions in her clinical practice, including mood and anxiety disorders, stress and trauma-related conditions, and ADHD. She is an experienced medico-legal report writer, and accepts referrals for civil matters.

Dr Fukui gained her medical qualifications from the University of New South Wales and a Bachelor of Science at the University of Sydney. She later completed a Graduate Management Qualification at the Australian Graduate School of Management, University of New South Wales.
Dr Fukui is a Consultant Psychiatrist in general adult psychiatry and medico-legal practice. She also holds the position of Visiting Medical Officer at the Professor Marie Bashir Centre, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. She has been a longstanding Consulting Specialist to the Australian Defence Force and has extensive experience in military psychiatry.
Dr Fukui’s medicolegal roles include Medical Assessor for the Personal Injury Commission for Motor Accident medical disputes and permanent impairment assessments and Review Panel Assessor. She is a Council Appointed Psychiatrist to the Health Professional Councils Authority (HPCA) and an Independent Medical Examiner for AHPRA for impairment assessments and has a particular interest in the assessment of impairment in health professionals. She provides medico-legal reports in civil matters pertaining to medical negligence, public liability and personal injury. She provides permanent impairment assessments for the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA).
She spent eleven years working in the pharmaceutical industry, primarily in neuroscience. Her roles included Product and Clinical Research Physician, in management and senior management for global pharmaceutical companies including director and consultancy roles with Pfizer, Eli Lilly, Biogen Idec, Janssen-Cilag, Novartis, and Sanofi-Synthelabo.

Dr Furst has extensive experience as a consultant forensic psychiatrist, preparing reports and giving expert evidence in numerous criminal matters before the NSW courts and other jurisdictions in Australia.
Clinical experience includes acute adult psychiatry at Wyong Hospital, forensic rehabilitation of mentally ill offenders at Cumberland Hospital, correctional psychiatry at Justice Health and the treatment of patients in private practice.
He has presented papers at a number of conferences relating to mentally ill offenders, risk assessment for violence, terrorism, refugees, stalkers and mental health law.

Dr Jones completed a Bachelor of Science and his medical training at the University of Sydney.
Dr Jones commenced his psychiatric training with the South Sydney Illawarra Area Health Service, before transferring to the Northern Sydney Central Coast Area Health Service. He completed his advanced training in Forensic Psychiatry at Justice Health. He completed his Masters in Forensic Mental Health through the University of New South Wales.
Dr Jones is currently a Visiting Medical Officer at Junee Correctional Centre.

UNSW Conjoint Associate Professor John Kasinathan is a senior forensic, child and adolescent psychiatrist. Graduating First Class Honours in Medicine from the University of Sydney, he became a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP), certified in both forensic psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry. His expertise includes the assessment and management of psychiatric conditions in children, adolescents and adults. He has authored over 30 peer-reviewed journal articles, two textbook chapters and presented at local and international conferences on forensic psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry.
Dr Kasinathan’s specialist appointments are as Clinical Director Adolescent Forensic Mental Health with Justice Health NSW; and Medical Director for the private adolescent and young adult inpatient program at Ramsay Clinic Northside. For over a decade he was clinical leader of the first high-secure adolescent forensic inpatient unit in Australia. For over 12 years he was senior Visiting Medical Officer with forensic and child and adolescent mental health services in Canberra.
His UNSW conjoint research interests include ADHD in young offenders, imminent aggression and re-offending in mentally ill adolescents, interpersonal drivers for self-harm, psychopharmacology addressing violence in adolescents and adult forensic patients, management of sexual deviance in youth, barriers to mental health court diversion and minimum age of criminal responsibility. These research areas directly assist the clinical treatment and care provided to young offenders. Research assists health services to advocate for better access to health care for some of the most vulnerable young Australians.
